As a world leader in lighting, Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) focuses on bringing digital transformation and innovation to the forefront. Signify brought in Accenture to help reimagine the consumer experience with light and enhance the E2E shopping journey through a digital customer interface and brand new direct-to-consumer (D2C) set-up channel.

As a top strategic priority for Signify’s CEO and C-level, and a high visibility project for Accenture, we put together a full-service team that leverages the best of Accenture across several industries/functional groups and specialized agencies, such as MXM and Storm Digital.

What we did

Our collective goal is to help consumers find, buy, and order the right light bulb, every time. Therefore, Accenture planned to develop a game-changing, industry-first digital interface called LightFinder - and launched it directly to consumers.

LightFinder is a mobile app designed to take the guesswork out of shopping for the right light. LightFinder uses cutting-edge technology, such as an AI bulb recognition engine and Augmented Reality capabilities, to enable consumers to recognize the size and fit of their light bulb and preview the color and lighting effects in their own home, respectively. We are excited to announce that we just launched it in the US and LightFinder app is now live!
