Location: Hybrid (ITO office, Amsterdam and work from home)

The work
Hi (potential) master student! You will intern within the Service team, Accenture Song. You will work side by side with management consultants, strategy consultants, product designers, business designers, creative technologists, and more to deliver people-centric experiences that generate value for our clients. This allows you to experience what working as a consultant is like while having the option to write your thesis.
Team The Service Group within Accenture focuses on the Customer Service domain at clients - so specifically the customer-facing part of companies. Our group consists of 20 committed people specializing in strategy & management consulting, ranging from analysts to directors.
Daily Tasks As an intern within the Service Team, your job consists of two main aspects: Writing your thesis on a topic within the field of Customer Service, and gaining experience as a consultant. The following can be expected:
Conducting research within the Service domain;
Writing your thesis with the support of dedicated people in the Service Team;
Get the opportunity to present your results to our team and others within the organization at fixed times;
Gain experience as a consultant within Accenture.
Research We support research topics that connect to the following domains, among others:
- Digital Commerce: exploring the shift to digital platforms and how businesses use technology to engage customers in innovative ways, both B2C and B2B.
- Customer Platforms: anything related to researching the integration of various customer touchpoints into seamless, personalized customer journeys across channels.
- Service Transformation: anything related to understanding how companies transform their service offerings and go-to-market strategies to address evolving customer needs and expectations in a digital-first world.
Song Talent Factory (STF) As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements/activities/projects to enhance your intern experience. Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will:
- Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career;
- Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources;
- Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Customer Service);
- Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer;
- Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events;
- Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities.

Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need
We expect the following qualifications and qualifications from an intern thesis:
- You are currently enrolled as a Master student in a Dutch university throughout the entire duration of the internship.
- You have affinity with Customer Service practices.
- You have a pro-active attitude and a entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
- You’re able to extract meaningful insights from data and communicate them in a digestible manner.
- You have a willingness to deepen or develop skills in presenting and pitching research outcomes.
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) and comfortable with English (spoken and written).
