THE WORK
Are you searching for an internship per 1st of March/February 2025 where you can play an active role in stimulating sustainability in the Netherlands? Accenture is facilitating partner – together with VNO-NCW - of the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition (DSGC), where 8 leading Multinationals of Dutch origin [AkzoNobel, dsm-firmenich, Friesland Campina, Heineken, KLM, Philips, Unilever, Shell] work together to accelerate sustainability impact by fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange between businesses, the Dutch government, and other key stakeholders.
We offer you a working experience through internship for 6 months for 32 to 40 hours a week, where you actively support the different activities of this leading coalition. During the internship, you can experience what it means to work at Accenture and contribute to one of its flagship sustainability initiatives.
Team: Our consultants in Strategy & Consulting are changing businesses every day using deep industry insights, knowledge, and innovative ideas. Positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology and industry, we devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights and data. With an eye for competitive advantage, digital disruption, operating models and the future workforce, we take on the challenge of designing and implementing transformative business solutions, using the newest technology. The DSGC program management consists of two consultants, with whom you work with daily. Many DSGC activities are organized utilizing other Accenture capabilities and teams, whom you work with on an activity-based basis.
Daily tasks: As the DSGC intern you will support the DSGC program managers on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all the ongoing activities at the coalition, ranging from strategy execution, program management, event organization, research on business strategies, government plans, NGO/knowledge institutes initiatives, preparing discussions with policymakers and communications. In agreement with the DSGC program managers your role can be tweaked to your objectives and skills.

Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need
- You are a Master student in the final year of your graduation, preferably with a specialization in the areas of: Sustainability, Business Administration, Strategy or Innovation (Management);
- You have evident affinity with Sustainability and Consulting;
- You have knowledge of topical business sustainability challenges;
- You’ve worked with diverse range of stakeholders before;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- You are eager to learn, work independently in a structured way, have eye for detail, and possess a hands-on mentality
- You are experienced in MS Office applications.
Bonus points if you have
- Good writing skills (articles);
- Possess knowledge of EU legislative processes and EU sustainability regulations (EU Green Deal and EU Circular Economy Action Plan);
- Experience in project management
