Functional Lead SAP

Job Description
Functional Expertise:
•Utilize deep knowledge of business processes and AMS methodologies to design, implement, and optimize application management solutions.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for functional issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
Client Engagement:
•Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
•Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and ensuring client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
•Ensure that all functional deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
•Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements as necessary.
Continuous Improvement:
•Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the functional team and the broader AMS practice.
Risk and Issue Management:
•Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
•Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
•Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
•Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of functional requirements, processes, and system configurations.
•Generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience:
•Proven experience as a Functional Lead or in a similar leadership role within AMS or IT service management.
•Strong understanding of AMS processes and methodologies.
•Experience with SAP AMS or other enterprise application management services is a plus.
Skills:
•Fluent Dutch required.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills.
•Strong functional expertise in business processes and application management.
•Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
•Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) and functional domains are highly desirable.
