Platforms Advisory Consultant – Supply Chain & Operations

The Work

As a Consultant in the Supply Chain & Operations Connected Solutions Advisory Practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a newly formed team in Accenture Technology on projects for large clients. You will help them to achieve their business goals whilst supporting their growth. You will work together with your Accenture colleagues to identify their challenges and collaborate to develop solutions that not only solve these challenges but also deliver business value.

• People You advise clients with your detailed knowledge of industry business processes and Connected Solutions. And you enjoy working together in often complex project environments with multiple involved parties; the client counterparts, the Connected Solution vendors, ERP software vendors and Accenture Colleagues from different teams

• Processes You help our clients deliver value in their end-to-end Supply Chain processes and Business transformation programs by translating their digital strategic roadmap into technology solutions 

• Technology Be granted the space to grow, learn and share your opinion in designing and developing the latest tech Connected Solutions in the Supply Chain Domain

• Data Support the client teams with designing, testing, deployment, and adoption of improved business processes based on new technology solutions. Pitch in on how data can play a pivotal role in the connected solutions space. 

You will be responsible for

• Helping clients with strategic cross-platform advisory trajectories

• Participating in client project in different roles based on your talents and a client-to-client need base. Examples of typical roles are strategic advisor, SME, business process modeler, functional design lead or consultant, data lead or consultant, solution architect, delivery lead driving large scale transformation programs etc. 

• Connecting with clients, software vendors, internal colleagues to identify new opportunities,

• Developing business process and technology architectural capabilities and translate them to commercial services/ offerings for our clients.

Here's what you'll need

• 5-10 years of experience in e2e Supply Chain business processes and Tech Connected Solutions space including good conceptual and analytical skills to manage the integration or related domains with an understanding of integration dependencies;

• Proven consulting experience in client engagement and relationship-building at different organizational levels;

• Expert knowledge on one of the Supply Chain & Operations domains; demand & supply planning, operations, warehouse management or transportation management;

• Experience with at least one Supply Chain platform and willingness to learn deployment of other emerging Supply Chain Connected Solutions e.g.: Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, O9, Anaplan, E2open, Manhattan;

• Passionate about providing value to clients taking on different roles and assignments 

• Self-starting, willing to quickly familiarize with new topics and to further develop topics with the client;

• Ability to bring a diverse perspective to the team and to our clients. 

• An entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with demonstrable experience of making a commercial impact for your organization by creating new value-added services/offerings for our clients;

• Analytical thinker and pro-active do-er contributing with ideas and attitude to build the best Supply Chain Connected Platforms Solutions practice in the Netherlands
