We have exciting opportunities for AWS skilled individuals to join our Data&AI practice, part of our larger Cloud First Group. We deliver scalable, business critical and end-to-end solutions for our clients - from data strategy and governance to core engineering, enabling them to transform and operate within Cloud Technologies.

The uptake in Cloud Platforms grows exponentially year on year. This is being matched by the rapid acceleration of new AWS products and offerings which are enabling our clients to be more agile and flexible in meeting their ever-evolving markets demands. Critically within this function is the ever-present need for Data professionals who can guide, lead, and advise our clients on the best solution within a AWS Data Platform.

Key Activities:

•Be required to build and deliver Data solutions using AWS products and offerings, using good communication skills to understand and deliver client requirements.

•Work with Agile and DevOps techniques and implementation approaches in the delivery.

•Work with client teams to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies.

•Have the opportunity & flexibility to develop your AWS Cloud career across a range of different skills paths (Platform, Data and Cloud Native specialisations).

•Be supported to continue your AWS training and certifications – complimented with other Accenture Engineer & Architecture training initiatives - and supported by our coaching and mentoring programmes.

•Be part of an extensive global Accenture/AWS network - the Accenture Amazon Business Group (AABG) – to support you in your role and future growth.



•A STEM degree is desirable, however we will consider a non-stem degree for candidates with a demonstratable passion for technology. Desirable skills include (Experience in Spark, Kafka, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or business intelligence reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense or Power BI)

•Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to apply analytical and creative thought process.

•Understanding of data engineering and data architecture lifecycles

•Experience of SQL

•Experience using Python and/or R/Java

Data&AI Learning Experience for Candidates:

•ETL development, data modeling, data warehousing technical architecture and Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lineage tools

•AWS Data Products (Amazon RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, DynamoDB, S3, QuickSight, Glue, Athena, Aurora, etc.)

•E2E Data Engineering and Lifecycle (including non-functional requirements and operations) management.

•Agile methodologies

•E2E Solution Design skills - Prototyping, Usability testing and data visualization literacy.

•Experience with SQL and NoSQL modern data stores.
