To accelerate value realization through digital manufacturing, companies need to adopt digital ways of working to increase quality with efficiency from manufacturing processes through hyper automation, autonomous robotics, and connected digital workers. Since there is so much incoming data to be collected and interpreted — from sensors, devices, machines, lines and workers — they need to leverage cloud-based platforms and data analytics solutions to optimize business KPIs, enabling intelligent asset management and new connected and outcome-based services.
The centralization of OT data in the IT landscape drives further digitalization and standardization of supply chain processes allowing the workforce in the production plant to work with mobile solutions to execute and register results themselves.
