Become a part of the world’s leading organization as a graduate intern. Bring your vision to life and help industry adapt to the changing world of business by building innovative solutions through insight. Your job
The 48 largest banks within the European Economic Area have a total credit risk exposure of €7.8 trillion. Within all these banks numerous systems and processes are in place to cope with this unimaginable large sum of money. But risks do not only arise from credit risk, it arises in nearly all the processes within such an organization. To get a better understanding of risks, institutions are constantly looking for new ways to support their risk management practices. In doing so they use complicated models and are increasingly looking to smart methods like machine learning.

Accenture offers you the possibility to experience this new revolution from the front row. You are expected to write a master thesis based on quantitative scientific research into the related concepts, application and value of financial risk management in the Dutch banking industry. Next to its theoretical value, the thesis should generate new knowledge and insights that is of direct relevance to Accenture’s Financial Services department and that strengthens Accenture’s leading position as a global professional services provider.

Due to the heavy regulatory requirements for financial services it is important that new technologies are extensively researched and validated before they can be used in practice. By doing an internship with Accenture you can help create the required research and validation. So, do you have the strong economic and mathematical background to work with these technologies? Do you have an inspiring idea for a research proposal? Then apply for this internship!
