Are you searching for an internship where you can play an active role in stimulating sustainability in the Netherlands and at the largest Accenture clients? Accenture is facilitating partner of the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition (DSGC), where 8 leading Dutch Multinationals work together to make a tangible impact on sustainability. 

We offer you a working experience through internship for 4 to 6 months for 32 to 40 hours a week, where you actively support the different activities of this important platform, focused solely on sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. During the internship, you can experience what it means to work at Accenture through active involvement and engagement.

Your Job

As the DSGC intern you will support the DSGC program manager on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all the ongoing activities at the coalition, ranging from strategy execution, program management, event organization, research on the UN Sustainable development goals, preparing & running sustainability pilots, preparing discussions with policy-makers and communications.

In agreement with the DSGC Program Manager your role can be tweaked to your objectives and skills. Additionally, the DSGC internship can include working on a Master Thesis or joining another Accenture Strategy project (on the condition of a skills & personal match).

  • Extensive industry and functional experience in developing and executing high-performing sustainability strategies.
  • Global reach and local relevance to offer customized sustainability solutions anywhere in the world.
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability & innovation across the value chain, aiming to identify how sustainability topics impact both the bottom line and society overall, and shaping innovative business models to maximize value.
  • Proven track record in economic and social impact projects across leading global companies, quantifying opportunities and driving business change.
  • Strong stakeholder understanding & engagement experience to support the sustainability transformation projects.

Qualifications

Your background

  • You are a Master student (final year), preferably with a specialization in the areas of: Sustainability, (Technische) Bestuurskunde, Strategy, Economics or Innovation.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (native) and English, and have great communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • You have evident affinity with Sustainability and Consulting.
  • You have an eagerness to learn.
  • You are a hard, structured worker and able to work independently.
  • You are experienced in MS Office applications.

Nice to have's: You are experienced in Circular Economy and the issue of plastic pollution for our upcoming pilot and/or you have experience with social media management.
