Your role as a data scientist in Industry X.0 space is to extract and prepare data, carry out advanced analytics, and apply the findings to improve products or production for Industrial clients. You must possess good understanding of manufacturing/products processes and applications to be able to conduct good analysis and draw conclusions for improvements. With your skills and experience, you will, for example help in paving way for the digital twin (a virtual representation of a physical asset, object, or process) to track the health of the physical assets by collecting data from the sensors and other business data leading to reduced downtime or optimize operations.

• Master or bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another related field;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language
• Relevant hands-on programming experience in different programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Scala, C++, SQL
• Knowledge and working experience in Databases, Machine Learning and AI, Data visualization
• Working experience in analysis of machine data
• Relevant working experience in one the following domains:
o Manufacturing and Industrial Automation
o Automotive Industry
o Logistic and Transportation
o Media & Telecommunication
• Experience in agile practices
