Liquid Studio Node.js developer Intern

We are looking for a Node.js developer familiar with AWS platform. Your internship project consists of implementing a booking system following guidelines from our UX/UI designers. We want someone able to think outside of the box to come up with new ideas for a seamless experience for our users. You’ll have a lot of freedom and will be able to explore, use and grow your skills.

Your responsibilities will be…

Implementing Front end domain of the system including test cases.
Integrate Front-end with Back-end.
Provide best development practices, creating a responsive portal.
Create a portal that responds fast to user’s requests.
Communicate constructively with team members to cooperatively build a product suite that delights customers.
Contribute to team decisions about system architecture and the selection of technical tools.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and resolve technical challenges. Understand business concerns and contribute to brainstorming pragmatic options to address them.

+ Basic qualifications

You are

Student or graduate Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related areas.
Plays well with others: low maintenance & fun to be around.
Eager and passionate about developing software.
Always looking for a new technical challenge and solution.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skill.
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
Fluent in English and/or Dutch.

Other Professional Skill Requirements and Qualifications

A solid foundation in software programming.
Web development experience (NodeJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS3, JSON, jQuery…).
Web testing experience.
Basic Git skills.
