Media Management Consultant - Operations

Are you looking for a new challenge to use your online and/or offline media experience within an expanding team? Do you want to design and produce qualitative and quantitative analysis to address the needs of our many and varied Benelux and International clients? We’re ready when you are.

Your impact

As a media management consultant, you will conduct high quality analyses on media performance Online/Offline with great attention to detail, assessing the performance of the agency and identifying any efficiency that can be made. This means validating data and interpreting data in order to fully understand the implications derived from it. 

It is important to understand media strategy and planning in order to target our service to those clients. If you understand that, you can provide clients with status updates on the project from start to completion and liaise with (Media) agency project team to meet project timelines highlighting areas of concern/risk when appropriate. This all to help manage a number of client relationships across Benelux.

You have to be methodical, organized, timely and an ambassador for Media Management when with clients. Sharing concepts, forming opinions, conclusions and actions which are clear and have a known value including communicating these with conviction to all stakeholders will be part of the job as well. An effective communication is key.

Your background

We are seeking individuals who:

Have a basic grounding and understanding of Dutch media; 3-6 years’ experience at a media agency with an in-depth knowledge of the NL media industry

Own well-developed analytical skills, understand online and potentially offline media, and are very driven and adaptable

Are strong verbal in both English and Dutch to confidently approach to presentations with client teams

About us

The Accenture Media Management practice is part of Accenture Operations.  A successful, and fast growing practice, within Accenture. The group has over 200 media experienced professionals working in 25 countries.

We work with a large portfolio of Netherlands, Belgium and International clients and their media agencies to understand the communications strategy, and then analyse the efficiency of their media planning and buying.  We work across all media (TV, VoD, Press, Radio, Outdoor, Online display and Programmatic trading) and are employed to increase accountability, demonstrating where an agency is performing well for a client and to identify any areas for improvement.  This often involves agreeing targets for the media agency to deliver tied to a Performance Related Fee incentive.  Also, the Media Management scope of work extends to Media Agency pitch management and Media Financial Auditing.  

Demystifying the media industry for our clients, particularly with regards to media jargon, is a key part of our role as an independent consultant.  This includes guiding clients on issues relating to digital media, where the pace of change and increasing complexity mean that consultative services and evaluation are more important to clients than ever.
