Internship – Liquid Studio – DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a DevOps engineer to our Accenture Liquid Studio in Utrecht. The Accenture Liquid Studio is a new facility designed for rapid application development and prototyping of new technology.

Job description
You will be working in an innovative environment together with Accenture’s best talent in our SEAL teams, leveraging the newest tools and gadgets. Our highly-skilled engineers use rapid application development principles; lightweight and microservice-based architectures; and technologies that transform experiences and operations, such as the Internet of Things, Augmented reality, Blockchain Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Sensor-based applications, wearables, etc.

Your role:
You will apply the most innovative delivery processes into all kind of projects from a wide range of technologies.
  • Build delivery pipelines enabling automated delivery
  • Create effective delivery processes and designs
  • Communicate constructively with team members to cooperatively build a product suite that delights customers
  • Implement automation delivery
  • Contribute to team decisions about system architecture and the selection of technical tools
  • Cooperate with 3rd party providers of technology and specific knowledge
  • Build knowledge in new technological areas
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and resolve technical challenges 
  • Understand business concerns and contribute to brainstorming pragmatic options to address them

Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver a wide range of challenging and global IT projects. These professionals may build, test, install and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries working with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom- built applications the field of Analytics, Mobile, Cloud / SaaS and Digital. 
Are you the perfect candidate? 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or related)
  • Eager and passionate about developing software
  • Always looking for a new technical challenge and solution
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skill
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Cloud passionate
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

Other Professional Skill Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Solid foundation in software programming
  • Dynamic language experience (Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP)
  • Common DevOps tools knowledge (Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus)
  • Git skills and basic bash skills (find, grep, cp, mv, less, top, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
  • Basic networking exposure (ip vs. MAC, basic OSI, protocols – HTTP, ssh, TCP, sockets)
  • Infrastructure competence (OS familiarity, virtual, cloud, package management/install services)
