Sidney is a Lean Agile Coach for the European Accenture - SolutionsIQ practice, implementing and influencing Business Agility transformations in multi-national enterprises. He is a principal faculty in the Agile-, DevOps- and SAFe training curriculum, steward of the Accenture Agile NL Community, and a training offering producer for the Accenture Training Centre.
Sidney traveled the world for more than 15 years, as a teacher, a consultant, and a coach. He has experienced work and life on all continents - from implementing the first inklings of DevOps principles in South Korea and teaching Scaled Agile Framework in Switzerland, to mature Agile Coaching in France and Egypt.
His background is in IT software development, operations and change management. With key achievements like building airline information systems that are used in major airports every day, and running 40-hour shifts bringing business-critical systems live, Sidney took these experiences as testament to the urgency of enterprises needing business agility today.
His impact is best felt in the deep discussions about business agility outcomes, especially in organizational adaptability. Cultural dynamics, human behaviors, community forming, all carry significant weight for him. Fostering wide connections, genuine understanding of purpose and establishing trust are core to his thought leadership.
Sidney has a Master in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management. Currently he lives in Rotterdam, together with his wife and son. Next to developing thought leadership about organizational and cultural frameworks, he enjoys travelling the world to visit the tallest buildings, the busiest airports and metro systems, and stadiums of his favorite sports franchises.
