Gerald Duarte is a Managing Director in Accenture Strategy and lead the Accenture Strategy M&A team in the Netherlands. He has strong experience in M&A and operations management, helping companies through their inorganic growth efforts.
Gerald has over 12 years of working experience in the M&A practice of Strategy consulting companies, serving both Private Equity and Corporate Clients on topics such as Separation, Post Merger Integration upside identification, commercial and digital due diligence, and operational turnaround.
Additionally, Gerald had several operations leadership positions in consumer goods and in the Healthcare industry.
His current focus areas are Mergers and Acquisition, Integration, Separation, Digital Due Diligence, Operations strategy, Supply chain, and operational turnaround.
He has built a strong track record in supporting his clients through the most operationally complex transactions over the last few years, playing key roles in some of the biggest carve-outs and integrations in the Dutch market.
Gerald graduated from Sigma Clermont-Ferrand (French mechanical engineering school) and holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He is based in Amsterdam.
