Frank K. Tang, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since May 2014, is chairman and chief executive officer of FountainVest Partners, a leading private equity firm focusing on investments in China.
Before co-founding FountainVest in 2007, Frank was senior managing director and head of China investments at Temasek Holdings, an investment company owned by the government of Singapore.
Prior to joining Temasek in 2005, Frank was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for nearly 11 years.
He began his investment banking career in the New York office before moving to Hong Kong, where he headed the telecommunications, media and technology investment banking effort in Asia, excluding Japan.
Frank is a governor of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and was a board member of Weibo Corporation from 2014 to 2020.
Frank earned his MBA from Columbia Business School—where he is a member of its board of overseers—and his bachelor’s degree from Donghua University.
