Supporting people throughout their career life cycle
Skills to Succeed is about empowering people to change their lives.
We are proud that we surpassed our goal to equip more than 3 million people by 2020 with the skills to get a job or build a business. We are continually evolving Skills to Succeed to meet changing market needs and to support people throughout their career life cycle.
MEET THE PEOPLE WE ARE HELPING
Workforce of today
Skills to Succeed is preparing the workforce of today for the workplace of tomorrow. Intelligent technologies are automating routine tasks, so we’re creating new skilling solutions to give employees the tools they need to map out future career paths.
Career coaching for everyone
We partnered with Stay Nimble on a digital career-coaching platform to help workers find a new career by discovering their natural talents and skills.
First jobs and apprenticeships
Through training, internship and apprenticeship opportunities—including at Accenture—we are working to equip those who are looking for jobs with the right skills to fill open positions.
Leading an apprenticeship movement in North America
In 2019, we brought on more than 300 new apprentices, bringing our total to 450 apprentices across 20 cities in Canada and the United States.
Leading the charge on skilling India’s youth
We are working with Cisco and Quest Alliance to equip 1.5 million youth across India with skills for the digital economy.
We are preparing the next generation of workers—the leaders of tomorrow—for success in the digital economy.
Inspiring an early interest in technology
At our CoderDojos, our volunteers mentor students and introduce them to coding through fun, hands-on computer science projects.
Building the skills of the next generation
Together, Accenture and Junior Achievement provide young people with the knowledge and skills to own their economic futures.
More about corporate citizenship
Together, with our clients, partners and people, we are collaborating to build a future of shared success.
