What I Do

I’m in the SAP Embedment & Performance Management team of an Energy project, where our work focuses on driving operational excellence in the client’s core business system that is supported by SAP and its connected applications.

My role in the project, besides providing continuous embedment in the SAP area and driving improvements key performance indicators, is to lead and drive the SAP Contracts, Procurement & Logistics interfaces rollout to the client. This activity includes planning, analysing, testing, deploying and providing support of the interfaces tools.

Day in my Life

Analytical and problem-solving skills are the bread-and-butter skills that help me in my day to day work and tackling any difficult problems/discussions.

Before my current role as a Contracts, Procurement & Logistics Interfaces Rollout Lead, I had to wear two hats: as a SAP Embedment Specialist and as Change Management Lead. These are two diverse roles put my adaptability and multitasking skills to the test.

I am also able to apply my leadership and team skills as the co-lead of the Kuala Lumpur Recreation Club Learning & Experience portfolio and now the Competitive Events portfolio. This role entails supervising and leading events like Kuala Lumpur Recreation Club (KLRC) Amazing Race, Olympics, Pub Crawl, Master Chef and many more.

So a typical day for me closer to the Business Unit Meeting or the Annual Dinner & Dance would be focusing on project work most the day, then planning or discussing the KLRC events in the early evening, then band practise after that.

Outside the Office/Work

I love to sing and travel. Within Accenture, I started singing at the Eco Day Out, a Kuala Lumpur Recreation Club Corporate Citizenship initiative. From there, I went on to sing for the first Accenture band, The Accidentals, where we sang at the Annual Dinner & Dance 2012. Then, I joined The Intentionals to sing at Business Unit Meetings and Open Mic Night.

I also dream of flying again someday, once I have more money and have renewed my license to fly.

My Advice

Be open and optimistic to any opportunities or challenges that come your way.
