What I Do

I am an Infrastructure Analyst currently performing service introduction activities for a large Norwegian telecommunications project. My role requires me to serve as a bridge between the client and our operations team and facilitate a smooth handover process whenever a server is ready for migration. I also ensure that critical activities related to server maintenance such as the backing up of data, installation of antivirus shields and continuous monitoring are in place.

Day in my Life

I start my day by checking my inbox so that I don’t miss out on anything important. Usually at 9 a.m., I attend our daily sync-up meeting to get a status report on the project. After that, I check with my service introduction teammates to discuss what servers need to be handed over to the operations team. Once done, I conduct the handover process by coordinating and communicating with my point of contact in operations. I also keep track of all handovers we initiate and the timelines for handovers we plan. At the end of the day, I update all my trackers and anticipate the workload for the coming day.

Outside the Office

I like doing outdoor activities. In the evening when I have free time, I go for a jog. My favorite sports are badminton and Frisbee. On rainy days, I enjoy reading a good book.
