I usually start my day with client and team catch-ups. We discuss the status of current projects, brainstorm on innovation ideas, improvement plans and how to integrate automation, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into our processes and tools.
To provide the best operational solutions for my clients, I regularly join training activities and keep myself updated on the latest technology and business trends. From virtual classes to classroom sessions and external events, you’ll never run out of learning opportunities at work—this is one of the reasons why I enjoy being a part of Accenture.
Throughout the day, I work with a multicultural team, a majority of which speak a second language. As a diverse, tight-knit group, we do fitness exercises together, organize huddles and enjoy sharing snacks. I appreciate my teammate’s diverse experiences and skills. Through our different perspectives, we creatively approach a challenge and come up with unique solutions. It’s all about working together towards a common goal.
I enjoy meeting new people and helping change other people’s lives. I believe in giving back to society, so I regularly volunteer for Accenture’s corporate citizenship activities. I remember a time when I volunteered to show senior citizens how technology and devices can help improve their lives. This experience made me happy because I was able to share and use my skills in a meaningful way.
In my spare time, I coach fresh graduates in career development. By sharing my work experience, I hope to inspire them to find their dream jobs at a young age. I’m also learning to speak, read and write in Japanese.
