Job Summary:

As a Blue Prism Developer in Shared Platform Banking, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism. You will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to automate high-volume, rule-based processes across banking operations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using Blue Prism in accordance with best practices.
  • Configure Blue Prism objects and processes using core workflow principles.
  • Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems including SQL Server, EDW, and Data Lake platforms.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation workflows to ensure stability and performance.
  • Create and manage technical documentation including PDDs, SDDs, and bot specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate automation outcomes.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and change control processes.
  • Ensure adherence to RPA governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
  • Support operational teams during UAT and rollout phases.

Junior to Mid-Level (2–5 years)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development using Blue Prism.
  • Familiarity with Blue Prism Process Studio, Object Studio, and Control Room.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, .NET, and Windows Server environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn complementary RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).

Senior Level (6+ years)

  • 6+ years of experience in RPA development, with deep expertise in Blue Prism.
  • Proven track record of leading automation projects and mentoring junior developers.
  • Proficiency in Blue Prism architecture, release management, and workload control.
  • Experience integrating RPA with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of automation lifecycle, governance, and security.
  • Blue Prism Developer or Solution Designer certification preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Must Have: Blue Prism, Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Java, Open Systems.
  • Good to Have: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, REST APIs, Agile methodologies.
