Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Junior Team Lead to support the day-to-day operations of the P2P function and assist in supervising a small team. This role is crucial in ensuring that Invoice Processing and payment activities and reporting’s (P2P focus on Invoice Processing and Payment) are executed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and service level agreements. You will also act as a bridge between the team, client, and management, helping to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily P2P operations, invoice processing, payments, and other reporting
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
Act as a first point of contact for resolving operational issues, escalations, and system-related queries.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Procurement, Finance, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Support team members with training, guidance, and workload balancing.
Assist in monthly/quarterly reporting, audits, and process documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize P2P processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and procedures.
Bank Reconciliation - Match and reconcile Bank statement lines against the Payments and receipts in the client systems
Vendor master creation – Create and update suppliers in the ERP systems
Good to have skills – worked on power apps
Accurate processing of PO/NON-PO invoices in client ERP
Qualifications
Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
4-6 years of experience in P2P/Accounts Payable operations, with some leadership exposure preferred.
Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba).
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a shared service or BPO environment.
Exposure to automation or process improvement tools (e.g., Power BI, RPA) is a plus.
Team-oriented mindset with ability to motivate and support junior staff.
