Trade / Capacity Analytics Specialist (Project Management), Kuala Lumpur Office

Accenture Cargo, a leading advisor within Accenture's Travel unit, empowers the global air freight and transportation industry. We serve top-performing airlines, shipping lines, integrators, forwarders, airports, and leasing firms with data-driven insights. Our dedicated analytics team in Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur provides comprehensive databases, forecasts, and optimization tools, delivering exceptional customer service and continuous product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach the analytics team in Kuala Lumpur in adopting and optimizing Scrum practices. This includes facilitating sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team understands and effectively utilizes the Scrum framework.

  • Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging data-driven decision-making and a focus on delivering valuable insights to clients.

  • Proactively identify and address any obstacles hindering the team's progress, whether they are technical challenges, data access issues, or communication barriers. This might involve collaborating with other teams, stakeholders, or IT to ensure smooth workflows.

  • Facilitate clear and concise communication within the team and with stakeholders in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • At minimum a Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in a quantitative field (e.g. information systems, computer sciences, data science, data engineering, econometrics, or other data related field)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, business analyst, system analyst or similar

  • Good understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.

  • Experience working with data analytics teams.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with Agile project management tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
