Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our Digital Banking - Retail Banking team. This role will focus on both front-end and back-end development, using a variety of modern technologies and frameworks to build and maintain web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development with exposure to Agile practices and DevOps.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end applications using React JS, JavaScript, CSS, and JSP.

  • Build and optimize back-end services using J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Camel (CXF).

  • Work with SQL and Unix scripting for database operations and automation.

  • Collaborate with content management tools such as TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS) and Weblogic Portal.

  • Contribute to Agile development cycles and assist in management reporting tasks.

  • Ensure applications run efficiently on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems, with integration to Oracle databases.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Frontend: React JS, JavaScript, CSS, JSP

  • Backend: J2EE, Spring (Boot, Batch), Camel (CXF)

  • Database & Scripting: SQL, Unix Scripting

  • Content Management: TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS), Weblogic Portal


Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with React Native.

  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and management reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

  • Less than 3 years of experience in web development, with both front-end and back-end exposure.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative attitude in Agile environments.
