Scrum Master, Senior Analyst (Waterfall & Agile)
Job Description:
Accenture is seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project delivery using Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies. You will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum best practices.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Support the use of Waterfall where appropriate and manage hybrid delivery models if needed.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Foster a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Exposure to or experience in traditional Waterfall project management.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a hybrid delivery environment (Agile + Waterfall).
- Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
- Technical background or experience working with software development teams.
