Accenture is seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master Manager to lead our agile teams and drive successful project delivery across various industries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding Scrum Masters and teams to optimize their performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of Scrum Masters, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and best practices across multiple projects
Facilitate the Scrum process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members to prioritize and clarify project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Foster a collaborative team environment by encouraging open communication, transparency, and trust among team members
Monitor team performance metrics and utilize them to assess and enhance team dynamics and efficiency
Coach and train Scrum Masters and team members on Agile methodologies, tools, and practices to improve overall project delivery
Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team’s progress, escalating issues as necessary to management
Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for scaling Agile practices within the organization
Stay current on Agile trends and best practices, bringing innovative solutions and ideas to the team and clients
Facilitate the transition from Waterfall to Agile where applicable
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or other Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, etc.) are strongly preferred
Minimum of 10 -12 years of experience managing projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments
Proven experience in successfully delivering projects in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Waterfall methodologies
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience with various project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Rally)
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
Experience in coaching and training teams on Agile practices and Waterfall methodologies
