Job Description
Prior experience of designing, building robust test frameworks and harnesses preferably in Python or Go.
Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery Designing, developing and supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams.
Good knowledge of Linux and should be comfortable with shell scripting.
Splunk, Installation, configuration, Splunk Dashboard, Design and implement tools (Splunk) and processes to support automation across all our services.
Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design and testability.
Installing splunk products, configuring logs and setting up dashboards, components including Splunk forwarders.
Configuration of application logs into the existing Splunk software installation.
Support collecting all the required data, support testing and getting signoffs from different parties and co-ordinate with offshore team to get the work done.
Security compliance background and knowledge (SOX, PII, PCI etc.) is a plus.
Splunk machine learning knowledge is a strong plus.
Excellent troubleshooting abilities spanning multiple software and hardware components (such as switches, storage systems, kernels).
Have a high bar for quality of the product.
Creative, independent, self-motivated and willing to learn new technology.
Possess good understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
Ability to take up variety of roles in a startup environment.
Knowledge of ESXi, HyperV, KVM is a plus.
Understanding of storage concepts is a plus.
Experience with distributed systems (databases, storage, map-reduce frameworks, etc.) is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Generally, requires minimum of 7 years’ experience in same or related discipline.
Strong programming skills in multiple languages, including Java, .NET, Python Or Java Script, Perl, C (3 of).
Experience of other languages suitable for rapid prototyping and functional development.
7+ year experience with developing applications and scripts
Experience designing and supporting relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, My SQL).
Extensive experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Docker Engine, Mesos, Swarm, CNI/CNM models,
Docker Registry, OpenStack, SDN integration, and virtualization).
Extensive experience of DevOps automation toolsets and their usage (e.g. Ansible, Docker Compose, Chef, Puppet),
Preferably with Anisble
Extensive experience with modern DevOps and SDN tools sets like Quagga, Anycast, Vault, RexRay, Gitlab and Maas.
Experience working with SRE concepts and principles.
Experience of developing software for different deployment environments including virtualized workloads and containers.
