Global Services Legal (GSL) team is a strategic partner and product counsel to the five Services of Accenture, i.e. Interactive, Strategy & Consulting, Industry X, Technology and Operations. GSL’s mission statement to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” We function as the integrator between various other parts of the Legal team, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business.

Key Responsibilities
Assessing new Industry X product and service offerings, including identifying relevant risks and appropriate risk mitigation strategies (contractual, operational, technical), and enabling the Industry X business’ ‘go-to-market’ strategy, in particular within the Growth Markets.
Developing clear guidance, templates and trainings on Industry X related topics for sales and go to market teams, development teams, technical teams and the rest of the Legal organization;
Teaming with Legal colleagues to synthesize and apply regulatory and compliance advice, including anticipating the impact of regulatory changes on Industry X’s business;
Enabling new strategic alliances and partnerships;
Helping evaluate prospective acquisition targets on behalf of Industry X, conducting due diligence, and helping to shape post-merger integration strategy; and
Taking on additional strategic projects at the direction of the Industry X Market / Solution Legal Leads and/or Industry X Global Legal Lead
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Experience
6+ years relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, with a preference for prior experience advising on the development of new product or service offerings
Candidates should have demonstrated interest in, industry awareness or prior knowledge of relevant Industry X technology areas, such as digital manufacturing, digital twins, Internet of Things/edge computing, cloud computing, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence.
Candidates should ideally also have experience in:
Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation design relating to engineering, manufacturing and/or operational technology, as distinct from information technology;
Review, drafting and negotiation of agreements, including understanding of commercial / transactional issues (including the impacts of liability/responsibility allocation), intellectual property and data privacy;
Deal shaping and evaluation of commercial models for new services and solutions (including hardware); and
Developing trusted relationships with Business leaders.
