Accenture Cargo is a practice area within the Travel unit in Accenture, and a leading advisor to the global air freight and broader transportation industry. The practice advises many of the world’s best performing airlines, shipping lines, integrators, forwarders, airports, leasing firms, etc. A dedicated data analytics and business intelligence team handles providing leading industry databases and analytical tools to our clients, including comprehensive air and express cargo demand & supply databases, forecasts and (network/fleet) optimization tools. The data analytics team operates from offices in Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur and aims to provide top class customer service and continuously improve and innovate existing and new products to continue our steep growth curve.
About the function
Do you want to work on industry leading data solutions using a cutting-edge data stack?
We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated data solutions architect to join our team in KL to further grow our capabilities. The KL team handles developing, maintaining, and managing proprietary market intelligence products.
In this role you will focus on solutions architecture and data modelling within the PowerBI platform, while delivering our suite of web-based dashboards. You will work in a multi-national, agile team which has responsibility to deliver across the whole data stack, with emphasis on developing the models and business logic that underpin our data visualizations.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of conceptual and physical data models aligning with the company’s infrastructure to drive business-centric data solutions
- Significantly contribute to identifying and developing best-fit data solutions for one or more projects, including architecture, data modelling, and visualization
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure data security, compliance, and that data governance principles are met
- Mentor less experienced team members
- Partner with our practice leaders to continuously improve our offerings based on market demands, technology advancement, and client innovation
- Troubleshoot issues related to data models, dashboards, and reports
- Develop technical documentation and training materials to support end-users and increase adoption of PowerBI reports and dashboards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data modelling, data analysis, PowerBI development, and technical infrastructure design
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL, DAX, SSAS, data warehousing concepts, and technical infrastructure design principles
- Experience with cloud services, preferably Azure
- Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI Service
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading and mentoring teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be consultative in nature with an analytical, problem-solving mindset
- Highly self‐motivated, self‐directed, and attentive to detail
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
