Job Description

In this role, you’ll be supporting the EDU sales team on the sales operations process. You’ll work with a diverse sales team across APAC, EMEA, & LATAM to initiate and manage requisitions, purchase orders & invoices in a timely manner. You’ll also support basic contract drafting & statement of works by liaising with both internal support teams & external vendors. As a project manager, you’ll help track and report on budgeting related activities and keep google-wide stakeholders informed. Using your problem solving skills, you’ll help identify procedural issues and bring key decision makers together to come up with an effective solution.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage internal sales procurement process
  • Support contract drafting & statement of work
  • Manage, track & report on budget
  • Project management on new & existing workstreams
  • Support provisioning & approval of EDU domains as needed
  • Become a subject matter expert in navigating internal systems/tools to execute the above-mentioned responsibilities

Initiate & track Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Initiate deals in legal tracker
  • Add template contracts in Simba / Navigo system
  • Use template executive summaries
  • Support enrollment of new vendors
  • Liaise with vendors / suppliers on creating and iterations of SOW if needed
  • Support standard contract drafting with vendors & clients
  • Receive & review quotations & estimates from vendors
  • Track approval status of SOWs related activities

Initiate & track purchase orders (PO)

  • Initiate purchase orders through ARIBA / PIVT system
  • Onboard new suppliers in the system
  • Track approval status of requisitions
  • Communicate POs to suppliers / vendors
  • Track & follow up on supplier invoices
  • Facilitate resolution for PO related operational issues

Budgeting

  • Track EDU spending & regional budget
  • Review and analyze budget for operational efficiency
  • Facilitate internal budget approvals from relevant stakeholders (sales leaderships, finance business partners etc)

Support provisioning of trial accounts

  • Issue requisition for provision of Chrome trial licenses through Billy system
  • Support approval of Workspace domains

General Project Management

  • Work with internal stakeholders to support activity reports & cost claims for market development fund projects
  • Work with sales liaison to support & follow up on SmartTrack system related tasks

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Strong Project/Operation Management Skills
  • Basic Knowledge of Contract and Budget Management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
