Our Supply Chain & Operations practice is part of Accenture Strategy & Consulting, providing a broad range of services across more than 40 industries. We are currently looking for experienced and highly motivated professionals, Consultant level specializing in Warehouse Management to join our Supply Chain & Operations team. 

As an Accenture Supply Chain & Operations professional, you will be at the core of shaping and delivering business transformation projects to respond to our clients' business challenges. For the role of Consultant, responsibilities include:

Warehouse and Fulfilment

  • Developing process improvement initiatives within the Client’s Warehouse functions (i.e. Inventory management policies, inventory segmentation and warehouse management), as well as contribute to other cross functions (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing & Planning etc.).

  • Driving efficient execution of the storage and distribution processes with a mind for optimisation.

  • Driving optimisation of MRP and replenishment activities, to resolve supply constraints and excess inventory.

  • Developing key performance indicators and implementing warehouse management framework in order to embed a sustainable outcome for Client operations.

  • Delivering project deliverables as per agreed project plan/ scope of work.

Client Relationship Management

  • Managing key client stakeholder relationships and communications at all stages of the project.

  • Facilitating meetings, presentations, and workshops to build client commitment for the change.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess a recognised degree with a minimum 2 – 5 years of experience; ideally candidates should have a mix of industry and consulting experience

  • Showcase industry experience, preferably products / FMCG

  • Knowledge of each element in Supply Chain; with deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning, specifically experience using technology and systems to implement world class supply chains

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and team ethos that will contribute to Accenture's growth in Supply Chain and Operations

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational, presentation, analytical and report writing Skills

  • Able to meet travel requirements, when applicable

  • Reside in 'the country'


Professional Skills requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Adept at using experience and knowledge of industry, geographic and technology trends to assess and shape business solutions.

  • Problem solving – able to take a creative and an hypothesis driven approach in order to solve complex problems.

  • Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications (written and oral) and facilitate discussions.

A strong candidate should have solid knowledge & experience in at least 1 of the 3 following areas:

  • HR processes, and an understanding of HR software applications for managing talent, improving workforce performance, and developing employees.

  • Talent Management, including organization design, competency modelling, learning & collaboration, leadership development and succession management.

  • Change Management execution for complex multi organization/ geography programmes typically enabled by SAP or Oracle ERP solutions.

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of prior consulting and/ or professional services experience is expected for Consultant

  • Solid financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skills.

  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Adept at using experience and knowledge of industry, geographic and technology trends to assess and shape business solutions.

  • Effective leadership and management skills with a proven ability to mobilize and energize project teams to deliver results.

  • Strong executive level relationship building skills.

  • Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral) and facilitate complex discussions.
