Job Summary:
We are looking for a PEMS Test Environment Coordinator to support test and pre-production environments for Core Banking - Investment & Wealth applications. The candidate will be responsible for environment monitoring, batch job management, and coordination of environment readiness activities across SIT and UAT. This role requires strong technical skills in scripting, environment monitoring, and coordination across multiple teams to ensure smooth test execution and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the setup and improvement of environment and application monitoring tools (e.g., GENEOS).
Monitor environments to ensure they are up, healthy, and proactively alert the team of issues.
Manage batch job setup requests from developers for Open System SIT and UAT environments (e.g., RIM).
o Validate all batch job requests against quality standards (adhoc/permanent jobs, job output error details).
o Monitor and track batch job executions.
o Consolidate and maintain batch jobs inventory.
Publish SIT and UAT End-of-Day (EOD) calendars to project TCOE, and coordinate adhoc EOD runs with the PEMS team.
Act as coordinator for project environment and connectivity setup/readiness across all applications in scope.
o Consolidate and publish readiness reports.
o Escalate issues and delays in a timely manner to Project Managers.
Track and manage environment issues using project Jira.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 3-5 years in test environment coordination, application support, or production support.
Technical Skills:
o Shell scripting, DOS commands, telnet commands.
o Environment and application monitoring tools (e.g., GENEOS).
Server/Database: Open Systems.
Operating Systems: Open Systems, Windows.
Soft Skills
Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
Proactive in identifying and escalating environment issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple environment tasks under tight timelines.
