Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Application Support Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience to support production systems in the Loans module of a Core Banking environment. The candidate will work on L3-level support for REM and ROS (Payments) applications, providing critical issue resolution, performing root cause analysis, and implementing application fixes on the AS400 platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3-level support for Core Banking Loans modules including REM and ROS (Payments).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and defects in COBOL/RPG applications on AS400.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide long-term resolutions.
Monitor and support batch jobs, ensuring SLAs are met and exceptions are handled.
Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams, development, and business units for issue resolution and change implementation.
Document technical solutions, incident resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
Provide on-call or after-hours support as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
3–5 years of experience in Application Maintenance / Production Support roles.
Technical expertise in COBOL and/or RPG on AS400 (iSeries) platform.
Working knowledge of DB2 and experience with queries or job control on AS400.
Familiarity with REM and ROS payment processing systems.
Understanding of ITIL framework and support processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience in the banking domain, particularly in Loans or Payments.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Experience with batch job monitoring tools or AS400 job schedulers.
