Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Developer to support the development and maintenance of a Global Data Warehouse (GDW) solution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and working with tools like Informatica, Oracle, and SQL Server. Experience in handling large volumes of data, and understanding data warehousing concepts is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support ETL processes using Informatica or similar tools.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources including AS400.
Write and optimize SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and implement data pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of data integration solutions.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of ETL job failures and data quality issues.
Support data loads and maintenance activities in Linux/AS400 environments.
Must-Have Skills:
3–5 years of experience in data warehouse or ETL development.
Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter or equivalent ETL tools.
Strong skills in SQL and working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server.
Experience working on or integrating with AS400 systems.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools.
Basic understanding of data modeling and data quality frameworks.
Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Prior experience in financial services or enterprise-scale data environments.
