Infra Build - Network Engineer
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage multi-account AWS cloud environments for our client project. This role involves setting up secure, scalable infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts with proper environment segregation and network architecture.
- Select and deploy appropriate cloud-native tools to accelerate application development.
- Knowledge of the target cloud-native tools is necessary, and this role can specialize in one specific native cloud, ex. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
- Implementation for Project Delivery (PD) digitalization covering Project Management Office (PMO) suite and Engineering & Construction (E&C) suite, as well as the integration with other existing corporate digital platforms, e.g. S/4HANA, Gensuite, P6 (...)
Experience and Skills
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure
- Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts and services
- Practical experience with VPC design, subnetting, and routing
- Hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway configuration and management
- Proficiency in configuring security groups, NACLs, and network security policies
- Experience implementing VPC endpoints for service connectivity
- Knowledge of AWS security services and encryption practices
Technical Competencies
- Familiarity with IAM policies
- Experience with AWS managed services (EC2, S3, ELB, Auto-scaling group)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Networking Knowledge
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Knowledge of load balancing and traffic distribution concepts
- Understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity (Site to Site VPN)
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate, or SysOps Administrator)
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations
- Knowledge of industrial or manufacturing technology environments
