Job Description: Junior Developer (GDW - Global Data Warehouse)
Experience Level: L2 (3-5 years)

Location: Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Developer with hands-on experience in Informatica, Teradata (TD), Hadoop (HD), or Oracle for Data Mapping, Data Modeling, and Data Marts development. The ideal candidate should be certified in at least two relevant technologies and have experience working in the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & ETL Development: Develop and optimize data pipelines using Informatica or SAS, integrating with Teradata (FSLDM, IFX, MDM, View Point, TASM) and Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, HUE, Scala, AI/ML).
Database Management: Work with Teradata DB, Hadoop Hive, and Oracle backend for data modeling, profiling, and mapping.
DevOps & CI/CD Integration: Utilize JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Query Surge for data lifecycle management. Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift for containerization.
Banking Domain Focus: Support Finance Analytics, Credit Risk Analytics, and Regulatory Reporting. Exposure to Treasury, Wealth Management, Trade Finance, and Retail Banking data models.
Qualifications
Technical Skills & Requirements:
Must-Have:
Certified in at least two of the following:
o Database: Teradata DB or Hadoop Hive (mandatory) with Oracle backend knowledge.
o ETL Tools: Informatica or SAS.
o Big Data/Data Science: HDFS, Hive, HUE, Scala, AI/ML.
o Data Analytics: SAS, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Splunk, R Studio, Python.
Hands-on experience with:
o Data Mapping, Data Modeling, and Data Marts development.
o Teradata (FSLDM, GCFR, TD Studio, IFX, MDM, View Point, TASM).
o Linux, Windows, AIX, Unix operating systems.
o Banking Domain & Data Warehousing.
Good-to-Have:
Experience with DevOps tools (JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Query Surge, Aldon, Control-M).
Knowledge of Business Analysis, Finance Analytics, Credit Risk Analytics, Basel, BCBS 239, and Regulatory Reporting.
Exposure to Murex, Trade Finance (FITAS, ARF), Retail Banking (Silverlake, Cardpac), AI/ML development.
