Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior L3 Support Developer - Unix/Shell to join our Digital Banking team. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing banking applications running on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments. The role involves L3 production support, Unix Shell scripting, incident resolution, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have experience with J2EE, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, WebLogic Portal, and Oracle databases, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
L3 Support & Troubleshooting – Investigate, resolve, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues in Digital Banking applications.
System Maintenance & Enhancements – Develop Unix Shell Scripts for automation, fix bugs, and support small enhancements in J2EE, React JS, SQL, and WebLogic Portal.
DevOps & Deployment – Assist in CI/CD pipeline setup, troubleshoot deployments, and ensure smooth application releases.
Documentation & Reporting – Maintain incident resolution documentation, generate system performance reports, and document issue resolutions.
Collaboration & Agile Practices – Work in an Agile environment, coordinate with L1 & L2 support teams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris.
Hands-on experience with J2EE, JSP, SQL, React JS, Spring Boot, and WebLogic Portal.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Oracle database queries.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps tools.
Understanding of incident and problem management processes in a production environment.
Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS) for content management.
Knowledge of Spring Batch and Camel (CXF) for integration workflows.
Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, or similar.
Understanding of cloud-based deployments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
