Job Summary:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Digital Banking team, focusing on Retail Banking solutions. The role requires expertise in Java-based backend development and experience with enterprise-level banking platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services for digital banking applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Maintain Backend Services - Implement features using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and XML for Digital Banking applications.
API & System Integration - Design RESTful APIs, integrate services using Camel (CXF), and implement batch processing with Spring Batch (preferred).
Performance & Troubleshooting - Optimize SQL queries, ensure security, scalability, and reliability, and resolve production issues efficiently.
Deployment & Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams, deploy applications on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris, and manage services on WebLogic Portal.
DevOps & Agile Practices - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Agile workflows, and management reporting (preferred).
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Mandatory:
- o Proficiency in Java (J2EE, Core Java), Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- o Strong understanding of SQL and database operations.
- o Experience working with XML for system integration.
Good-to-Have (Preferred):
- o Experience with Apache Camel (CXF) and Spring Batch.
- o Familiarity with JavaScript, JSP, Unix Scripting, and WebLogic Portal.
- o Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- o Experience with management reporting systems.
Operating Systems:
o Experience with HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
