Location: Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Java and Spring technologies to join our Digital Banking team. The role involves developing and maintaining backend systems for retail banking applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration. Familiarity with Agile practices and DevOps will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL.
  • Good-to-Have Tasks: Work with Camel (CXF), Spring Batch, JavaScript, JSP, and Unix Scripting for advanced functionalities.
  • System Deployment: Deploy applications on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris using WebLogic Portal.
  • Agile & DevOps: Collaborate in Agile projects and support DevOps processes for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Reporting: Assist with management reporting and progress updates.

Qualifications


Required Skills:

  • Mandatory: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, SQL.
  • Good-to-Have: Camel (CXF), Spring Batch, JavaScript, JSP, Unix Scripting, WebLogic Portal.
  • Operating Systems:
  • Primary OS: HPUX, Linux, Solaris.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and clear communication.
  • Good-to-Have Experience:
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience in Agile project environments.
  • Knowledge of management reporting.
