Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Production Support Analyst with 6-9 years of experience to join the NPP sub-domain under the PRO domain. The candidate will support the FIS Open Payment Framework platform, ensuring smooth application maintenance and production support. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, incident management, and close collaboration with technical and business teams to maintain critical payment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 application maintenance support for the FIS Open Payment Framework, focusing on incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in environments using Oracle Database 19c, JBoss EAP, and OpenShift Container Platform.
Monitor, debug, and optimize application processes using tools like Splunk and Kafka.
Manage and schedule batch jobs using tools like Control-M, ensuring efficient execution and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle incidents, service requests, and change implementations.
Follow ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management processes.
Proactively monitor application performance and identify opportunities for system optimization.
Take the lead during critical incidents, coordinating efforts to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
Document technical solutions, incident resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Boot) for troubleshooting and understanding application behavior.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c, JBoss EAP, and OpenShift Container Platform.
Expertise in using Batch Schedulers (e.g., Control-M) and monitoring tools like Splunk.
Experience with Kafka for message streaming and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to handle application maintenance within an L3 support context, including incident triage and resolution.
Understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
Preferred Skills:
Banking domain knowledge, especially in corporate banking or payments systems.
