Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our GDW team. This role involves working with cutting-edge data platforms, tools, and analytics solutions to support financial and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, system integration, and analytics, with proficiency in at least one domain of Finance Analytics or Data Modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Engineering:
Develop ETL pipelines using Informatica, Cloudera, and Teradata.
2. Analytics & Reporting:
Build dashboards with QlikSense and Power BI.
Use Python, R, Kafka for data analysis.
3. Database Management:
Work with AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres.
4. System Monitoring:
Use Control-M, Aldon, PUTTY for environment monitoring.
5. Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Technical Expertise:
o Experience with platforms such as Cloudera Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, and tools like Informatica Data Integration Suite.
o Proficiency in analytics tools like QlikSense, Power BI, and scripting in Python or R.
o Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Hive, and Kafka.
Domain Knowledge:
o At least one of the following:
o Finance Analytics (Credit Risk, Treasury, Wealth Management, Trade Finance).
o Data Modeling (FSLDM, Data Marts).,
Good-to-Have Skills:
o Knowledge of AS400, Experian PowerCurve, SAS, and DevOps tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket.
Operating Systems:
o Proficient in AS400, AIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
