Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Application Maintenance/Production Support professional with 3-5 years of experience to support and maintain applications in the WAM & OPI sub-domain. The role involves working with Axway API Manager, API Gateway, and in-house Java Spring Boot Microservices solutions. The candidate will provide expertise in API Gateway/Management platforms or Java-based microservices, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Support:
Provide L3 support for applications in the WAM and OPI domains.
Diagnose and resolve issues in API Gateways or Java Spring Boot applications.
2. API Management:
Manage and support API Gateways (Axway or similar platforms like Apigee, Kong, or Layer 7).
Configure and optimize APIs for performance and reliability.
3. Microservices Maintenance:
Support, troubleshoot, and enhance Java Spring Boot microservices.
4. System Operations:
Work with Oracle Databases (12c/19c) and manage Linux-based environments (RHEL or SUSE).
5. Collaboration and Documentation:
Coordinate with teams to resolve issues and document processes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
API Gateway Management: Experience with Axway API Manager, API Gateway, or equivalent platforms (Apigee, Kong, Layer 7).
Java Microservices Development: Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot microservices architecture.
Unix/Linux Expertise: Strong command of Linux environments, including RHEL or SUSE Linux.
Database Knowledge: Proficiency in Oracle Database 12c/19c, including querying and performance tuning.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with Solaris operating systems.
Experience in optimizing application performance for API Gateways or Java-based solutions.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with API Gateway expertise will focus on WAM application support.
Candidates with strong Java Spring Boot skills will work on OPI application support.
Work Environment:
Platform/Product: Axway API Manager, API Gateway, and in-house Java Microservices Solutions.
Server/Database: Oracle Database 12c/19c.
Operating Systems: RHEL (mandatory), Solaris (nice to have).
