Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Developer with experience in Data Engineering to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. The role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies such as Cloudera Hadoop, Teradata, and Informatica to design and implement data integration solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, leveraging your expertise in Python, R, Kafka, and other tools to enhance data processing and analytics. A strong background in finance analytics (e.g., Credit Risk Analytics, Treasury & Wealth Management) is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration & Development:
Build and maintain data pipelines using Cloudera, Informatica, and Teradata.
Process and transform data for the EDW environment.
Analytics & Reporting:
Create reports and dashboards using QlikSense and MS Power BI.
Use Python and R for data analysis and building predictive models.
Collaboration:
Work with business teams to understand needs and deliver data solutions.
Collaborate with team members to improve data processes and quality.
Optimization & Automation:
Optimize data pipelines for better performance and efficiency.
Implement automation and monitoring for smooth data operations.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide support for data systems and fix issues as they arise.
Ensure data is available for analytics and reporting.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document data solutions and processes.
Provide regular updates on project progress and system performance.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Technical Skills:
o Strong experience with Cloudera Hadoop (6.X), Teradata Inteliflex, and Informatica.
o Proficiency in Python, R, and Kafka.
o Experience with data integration, ETL, and data modeling.
o Familiarity with QlikSense and MS Power BI for building reports and dashboards.
o Strong knowledge of AS400, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres.
2. Experience:
o 6-9 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Development roles.
o Proven track record of working with large-scale data environments and enterprise data warehouses (EDW).
o Experience in finance analytics or working on data models for financial applications (e.g., Credit Risk, Treasury & Wealth Management).
