Job Title: System Analysis

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated System Analyst to join our Data team, focusing on the Global Data Warehouse (GDW) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, data integration tools, and experience with various database systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to analyze data requirements, design data models, and support data-driven decision-making processes within our finance analytics domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze data requirements for reporting and analytics.
Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration processes using tools such as Informatica and SQL.
Assist in the design and implementation of data models (e.g., FSLDM, data marts) to support business analytics.
Perform data analysis and visualization using tools like QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI, Python, and R.
Support the deployment and maintenance of Cloudera Hadoop distribution and Teradata environments.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity across various databases (AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
Utilize JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
Create and maintain documentation of data processes, models, and systems.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues as they arise.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and financial services.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, system analysis, or a related role.
Proficiency in Cloudera Hadoop distribution (6.X), Teradata Inteliflex, and Oracle.
Hands-on experience with the Informatica Data Integration suite and data visualization tools (QlikSense, Power BI).
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
Understanding of data modeling concepts and practices, particularly in finance analytics.
Experience with Kafka and other data streaming technologies is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of finance analytics, including credit risk and decision support systems.
Experience with additional technologies such as AS400, Experian PowerCurve, and SAS.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Bit Bucket) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
