Senior Developer - AML/KYC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in the AML/KYC sub-domain to support and enhance our compliance operations using the Detica NetReview platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of Unix scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, and Java development skills, along with experience in automation and enterprise systems integration. This role involves managing reporting frameworks, developing programs to automate data retrieval, and integrating with core compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Maintenance:

Build and maintain Java-based reporting frameworks.

Develop automation programs for data retrieval and document extraction.

Unix Scripting:

Write and optimize Unix Shell Scripts for system automation.

Manage Unix environments (RedHat and AIX).

Database Management:

Create and optimize PL/SQL scripts for data operations.

Support Oracle database configurations and performance.

System Integration:

Work with middleware tools like JBoss, WebLogic, and IBM MQ.

Implement distributed systems tools such as Kafka and Zookeeper.

DevOps & Automation:

Set up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket.

Use tools like BMC Control-M for job scheduling and automation.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Ensure system performance and resolve application issues.

Collaborate with teams to enhance functionality and resolve bugs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Mandatory:

Languages: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting (ksh, perl), PowerShell, PL/SQL.

Systems: Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux (RedHat, AIX) and Oracle SQL.

Development: Solid foundation in Java backend development.

 

Preferred (Good-to-Have):

Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket.

Familiarity with distributed processing tools (Kafka, Zookeeper, Spark).

Knowledge of BMC Control-M for job scheduling.

Exposure to middleware technologies such as JBoss, WebLogic, and IBM MQ.

Advanced Oracle configurations (Oracle Wallet, PPRC, Data Guard).
