Job Description: Junior Developer (AML-TM - Actimize)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Developer with hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting to join our team in the AML-TM sub-domain. You will be responsible for supporting and developing the Actimize Transaction Monitoring system, primarily focusing on data integration, report generation, and system troubleshooting. The role requires a balance of development and problem-solving skills, but not necessarily deep coding expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
System Development & Maintenance: Assist in the development and maintenance of the Actimize Transaction Monitoring system, focusing on integration with upstream and downstream systems.
Data Extraction & Reporting: Use Oracle SQL/PLSQL to extract data for reporting purposes, ensuring accurate and timely generation of transaction monitoring reports.
Troubleshooting & Problem Analysis: Analyze and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis and working with vendors when necessary.
Shell Scripting: Write and maintain shell scripts (ksh, perl) to automate tasks, system checks, and integrations.
Actimize Configuration: Collaborate with senior team members to configure Actimize modules (e.g., RCM, SAM, UDM, ActOne) to support anti-money laundering operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., data analysts, compliance, operations) to ensure smooth data flow and system functionality.
System Monitoring & Optimization: Help monitor the performance of the Actimize system and suggest improvements for better efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Have:
SQL & PL/SQL: Intermediate proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including report generation and data extraction from Oracle databases.
Shell Scripting: Experience with shell scripting (ksh, perl) for system automation and integration.
Problem Analysis & Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and work with vendors when necessary.
Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration points, especially involving upstream and downstream systems.
Actimize Transaction Monitoring: Basic understanding of the Actimize platform and its modules for transaction monitoring.
Development Experience: Hands-on development experience, though the role does not require deep coding skills but rather practical experience for system support and enhancement.
Good-to-Have:
Actimize Modules: Familiarity with Actimize modules such as RCM (Risk Case Manager), ActOne, SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring), and UDM (Unified Data Management) is beneficial.
Java: Basic knowledge of Java can be advantageous for integrating systems or handling specific tasks related to the platform.
Actimize Experience: Previous experience working with the Actimize platform, especially in transaction monitoring or anti-money laundering, is a plus.
Working Environment:
Operating Systems: Exposure to and experience in working with Solaris, Red Hat, AIX, Unix, and Linux environments.
Database: Strong experience working with Oracle databases, including handling large datasets, writing efficient queries, and managing report generation.
