GM: Murex/ Risk Developer

Job Description
Murex Development: Collaborate with the GM Derivatives team to develop and enhance risk management functionalities within the Murex platform.
Risk Analysis: Utilize Murex to analyze and monitor risk metrics related to GM Derivatives products, including options, futures, swaps, and other derivatives.
Data Integration: Integrate market data feeds and internal data sources into the Murex platform to facilitate risk calculations and reporting.
SQL Server Management: Manage SQL Server databases to store and retrieve data for risk analysis and reporting purposes.
Java Development: Develop custom components and modules using Java to extend the functionality of the Murex platform as needed.
Control M Job Scheduling: Configure and schedule jobs using Control M to automate data processing.
Asset Class Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of various asset classes, market data sources, and their impact on risk management within the GM Derivatives business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Murex development, preferably within the Global Market Derivatives domain.
Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in using the Portia platform for risk management and derivatives trading.
Database Skills: Experience working with SQL Server 2012 for data management and reporting.
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java programming for Murex customization. Knowledge of Control M is a plus.
Operating Systems: Experience working with Windows 2012 server environments.
Asset Class Knowledge: Understanding of various asset classes and market data sources, especially those relevant to GM Derivatives products.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and propose effective solutions.
Banking Environment: Familiarity with banking operations, financial products, and industry regulations is advantageous.
