Job Description

Architecture Design: Design and architect datamart solutions to meet reporting requirements for Murex, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and VaR modules.

Data Modeling: Develop data models and schemas to support efficient storage and retrieval of data within the Oracle database.

Integration: Integrate data from various sources including Murex, external market data feeds, and internal systems to populate the datamarts.

Reporting Framework: Define and implement a robust reporting framework leveraging Oracle database features and SQL querying capabilities.

Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline data processing, ETL workflows, and report generation tasks.

Performance Optimization: Optimize database queries, data processing pipelines, and report generation processes for improved performance and efficiency.

Environment Support: Provide support for Murex environment provisioning, configuration, and maintenance as needed.

Documentation: Document technical specifications, data models, architecture diagrams, and implementation details for reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Experience: 6-9 years of experience in data architecture, particularly in designing and implementing datamart solutions for financial systems.

Platform Knowledge: Strong expertise in Murex platform, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and VaR modules is essential.

Database Skills: Proficiency in Oracle database management, including data modeling, SQL querying, and performance tuning.

Programming Languages: Good to have experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks. Proficiency in SQL is required.

Operating Systems: Experience working with open systems (Unix/Linux) environments is necessary.

Murex Environment: Prior experience with Murex environment support, provisioning, and configuration is highly desirable.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and design appropriate solutions.

Communication:  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and preferably within a banking environment
