Job Description

  • Landing zone design capabilities using multiple Azure subscriptions including but not limited to connectivity, identity, management and DevOps
  • Deep understanding of azure services such as resource groups, vnets, azure key vault, availability sets, roles and policies, DNS, azure firewalls, expressroute, VPN, app gateway, privatelinks and recovery services 
  • Able to engage stakeholders to understand current architecture landscape from infrastructure perspective
  • Basic understanding of azure active directory and integration with on premise systems
  • Network CIDR block and IP address planning as well as vnet gateway for transit routing
  • High availability / disaster recovery knowledge for cloud platforms across multiple regions and availability zones. Plus if candidate has site recovery experience in azure
  • Monitoring and logging azure platform using cloud native services
  • Experience in migrating on-premise to Azure for both servers and databases (rehost is sufficient, replatform / refactor is a plus point)
  • Highlight issues / risks internally and externally. Act as focal point in the event that project lead is unavailable.

Qualifications

  • Azure Cloud Design (Well-Architected Framework)
  • Infrastructure Architecture (Network, DNS, Hybrid Cloud Connectivity, HA / DR)
  • Landing Zone Design
  • On-Premise to Cloud Migration (Azure required, AWS preferred)
  • Project Management
