About the role

The Cloud Activation Specialist helps existing customers successfully onboard, adopt, and expand their usage of cloud premium features. The Cloud Activation Specialist helps customers in discovering and integrating 3rd party applications with our cloud solutions, including single sign-on configuration, setting up security policies and deploying Identity Governance/Protection capabilities. Customer engagements are managed in an inside sales model, with a combination of outbound and account management tactics. A successful Activation Specialist is expected to leverage business acumen with technical knowledge to build strong transactional and strategic customer relationships, focusing on customer retention through value.  

Accenture empowers our Activation Specialist roles to be trusted advisors to customers, working cross-functionally to secure customer commitment.  

  

We provide product, process, systems, and sales training to develop the skills of our Activation Specialists for current and future roles. This includes product and platform specific training including, but not limited to, hands-on training, vendor certifications, partner certifications, and sales tool training. 



Qualifications

Recommended Experiences and Knowledge  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4-year college degree 
  • +3-year experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Customer Support, Customer Success, Customer Service, and/or Information Technology.
  • Must have knowledge of cloud computing technologies; AZ-900 certification preferable.
  • Express desire to develop a career in technology sales.
  • Ability to successfully manage a portfolio of both transactional and strategic customer relationships.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via the phone daily.
  • Ability to present a product demo covering both business and technical aspects.
  • Having good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward client and coworkers.
  • Work style consistent with adopting best practice frameworks, being receptive to coaching and training, and committing to the processes that create results.
  • Strong teaming personality: Drive individual success within the construct of a formal team including rigorous account management, professional development, and mutual support.
  • Ability to deftly intake and resolve customer escalations. Requires nuanced communication skills, active listening skills, and objective response cadences.
  • Ability to identify and qualify the key aspects of a potential opportunity, including need, budget, time frame and decision-maker, nurture the opportunity to close, engage channel partners as needed and manage the customer relationship through success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Korean Language speaker.

  

Technical Experience  

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM Software (Dynamics, Salesforce, etc) preferred.
