Role Summary

Candidate will drive sales for Cloud based service which include Consulting, Implementation and Managed Services for assigned territory. Role starts from originating the opportunity with clients and then pursuing it through the sales stages to closure and delivery. Most pursuits also involve working along with other teams within Accenture and external cloud partners. Candidate needs to have solid experience and credibility in Cloud sales, with additional experience in the area of professional services.


Key Responsibilities


· Client Opportunity Origination:

Identify and create Cloud based Consulting and Professional services opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Engage in sales opportunity creation activities directly with clients as well as with other teams at Accenture to complement overall Accenture offerings.


· Client Value Creation:

Build value of Accenture’s services for client’s business needs and become client’s trusted advisor for their Cloud journey. Candidate needs to understand the complexity and challenges of enterprise clients and be able to weave Accenture’s consulting and professional services value to assist clients in their Cloud journey.


· Sales Process and Deal Closure Leadership:

Lead Sales Process for opportunities internally within Accenture as well as externally with the clients. Construct and execute Deal Win Plan - including value proposition, win themes, tactics & action plan, competitive analysis, Steering client’s organization and processes and manage all negotiations and closing activities. Candidate will lead the sales process across other teams including technical, finance, legal, procurement, HR and proposal management throughout the deal cycle to closure. Understand client’s organization and processes and manage all negotiations and closing activities accordingly.


Professional Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Related Field
  • 3 years + experience in selling and solutioning Cloud based products and services
  • 6 years’+ experience selling Professional services to Fortune 500 companies
  • 10 years’+ experience in IT Sales
  • Experience with C-Level client coverage and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making abilities
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
